Hi I’m Kelly. This blog is mainly for my mom, who lives 4,781 miles away, in Kansas. I know that she is totes missing out on all things KB so I decided to get her up to speed on what’s going on over here (here being Madrid, Spain). I might stick in some inside jokes for her enjoyment, but I’ll mostly just go on and on about stuff that I like. Lately these are the things that really perk my ears: folk music, Lavapies, state fairs, gas wars, NPR, dogs (by dogs I mean bull terriers), JELL-O, freebies, vegetarian cooking, traveling, RICCI ice cream, my friend Steff, books, city photography, festivals in Spain, H&M and of course the road trip I’ll be taking this summer through the western states.
